There’s a JustGains gym in a browser game now. Train there and you get bigger.
Phil Campbell is building a virtual house for a creator he wants more people to see. He also built a gym across the street, put our name on it, and gave everyone who trains there a visible size buff.

The Blade House is a small neighborhood in your browser. You pick a character, walk through the front door and wander around a house built for Max Blade, who builds vibecoded products and streams every weekday. Every room leads somewhere real: his live show, his games, a few of his products, and the channel’s stats up on the studio wall. It keeps hours, too. The doors open at 10:30 am Eastern and close at 5, and outside that window the front page shows a countdown and lets you straight in when they open.
Phil Campbell built it. He’s the one-person shop behind humbleha.us, a site whose banner reads “a gen-x that just won’t quit” and whose projects run from Mac menu bar apps to a YouTube climate calculator. On October 6 he posted that he’d been building on Cloudflare for a few weeks and was loving it, dropped the link, and signed off: “vibecoding is so much fun.”
Across the street
Across the street from the house there’s a gym. The sign out front says just gains, open with the house, and the wall inside says every rep counts, every round counts. We didn’t build any of it. We found out when our founder wandered in, trained for a while, and posted a video.
It’s a real floor plan. Cardio runs along the back wall: treadmills, bikes, rowers. There’s a boxing room with heavy bags and a ring, and a free weights area with a bench, a squat rack, a dumbbell rack and kettlebells. Reception has a board called Today’s Gains that lists everyone who trained that day, guests included, with tabs for punch bag rounds, lifts and workout time. It resets at midnight, New York time.

Click any piece of kit and you’re using it. The bench press is a two-key rhythm, F for the left arm and J for the right, alternating while a fatigue bar climbs toward lockout. Dumbbells are a timing game: a marker slides up a track and you tap while it’s in the green for a clean rep. Each set gets a total, and the total goes on the board.
“Do 3 workouts within 30 minutes and you’re Pumped for 10 minutes: visibly beefier, and everyone sees it.”
The size buff
That’s the part that got us. A workout is 30 seconds on a machine, a heavy-bag round, a lift set or 30 seconds of kettlebell technique. Do three inside half an hour and your character gets Pumped: the sprite swells up and stays that way for ten minutes, in full view of everyone else in the gym. Our founder’s reaction, mid-session, was “hhaaaaa im hugeee.” Phil’s was “SWOLLLEE.”

It’s multiplayer, with chat bubbles over everyone’s head, so a session turns into a rowing race fast. The chat log from one afternoon: “pace me bro”, “we get three and it’s a contest”, “oh no way!?”. Our founder’s own post ends with an invitation: “come grab a rower!!”

Why the house exists
The credits panel on the front page lists the stack as JavaScript, Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects, and right under it, the mission. Max is working toward $250,000 for a home for his kids and partner, and the page tracks verified product revenue against that goal (27.1% when we looked). Phil’s note beneath the progress bar: “This is not that house, but I’m looking to get Max more exposure to make that a reality!”
Go while it’s open. Pick a character, cross the street, and get on the bench. If you make the board, Phil is on X as @philcampbell, and Max streams every weekday on Max Blade TV.
