Place your palms on the floor beside your hips, with fingers spread wide for better support.
Press down into your hands while simultaneously engaging your core and lifting your hips and legs off the ground. Try to keep your legs straight and together.
Your body should form a 'L' shape, with your torso and legs at a 90-degree angle.
Keep your shoulders down and away from your ears, and maintain a straight back as you hold this position.
Look forward to keep your neck in a neutral position.
Hold the L Sit position for as long as you can maintain good form, aiming for increments of 5 to 20 seconds as you build strength.
Lower your hips and legs back to the ground to rest, and then repeat for the desired number of sets.
