Positioning
Begin by kneeling on a yoga mat with your knees about hip-width apart.
Sit back so that your glutes are resting near your heels.
Keep your back relatively straight as you prepare to lean forward.
Execution
Lean your torso forward, hinging at the hips, to bring your chest closer to the floor.
Place your elbows onto a stable surface, such as a yoga block (or directly on the floor if preferred).
Keep your hands pressed together in a "prayer" position, with palms facing each other.
Gently bend your elbows further, bringing your hands behind your head while keeping them pressed together.
Allow your head and upper back to drop through your shoulders to deepen the stretch in your triceps and lats.
Maintain a steady, controlled breath throughout the hold.
