How to do the Single-Leg Hold Raise
Setup
Sit on a yoga mat with your legs extended in front of you.
Lean your torso back slightly, grounding your palms on the floor beside your hips for stability, keeping your chest open and core braced through the entire movement.
Movement
Lift your legs a few inches off the floor, engaging your lower abdominal muscles.
Keep your legs straight or with a very slight bend at the knees.
Alternately raise each leg slightly higher while keeping the other leg lower, creating a 'scissor' or 'fluttering' motion.
Ensure your lower back remains stable, and avoid rounding your spine forward; keep your gaze forward to maintain a neutral neck position.
Continue this fluid motion for your desired duration or rep count, focusing on controlled breathing.
