How to do the Seated Parallette Leg Flutter
Setup
Place two parallettes parallel to each other on a flat surface. Sit between them, grasping the handles firmly with your hands while keeping your arms fully extended and supporting your body weight. Your torso should remain upright throughout the movement.
Movement
Lift your legs off the ground, keeping them as straight as possible.
Engage your core to maintain a stable, L-sit inspired seated position.
Perform small flutter kicks by alternately lifting one leg slightly higher than the other in a controlled scissoring motion.
Keep the movement steady and focused on abdominal control rather than just swinging the legs.
Tips
Focus on maintaining a straight spine and not slouching.
Keep the range of motion for the kicks small and controlled.
Exhale as you lift your legs, and maintain steady breathing throughout.
