How to do the Seated Drop Bent-Knee Leg

Starting Position

Sit on the floor with your legs extended in front of you. Lean back slightly, supporting your weight on your forearms, ensuring your elbows are directly beneath your shoulders.

Execution

  1. Engaging your core, draw your knees toward your chest by flexing your hips and knees until your thighs are closer to your torso.

  2. Exhale as you bring your knees in, focusing on squeezing your lower abdominal muscles.

  3. Slowly extend your legs back out to the starting position without letting your feet touch the floor.

  4. Keep your back straight and avoid collapsing your chest throughout the movement.

Tips

  • Keep a consistent pace and maintain constant tension in your core by keeping your feet hovering just above the floor.

  • If this feels too difficult, you can perform the movement with one leg at a time.
