Setup

  1. Lie flat on your back on a mat.

  2. Wrap your right leg around your left, ensuring the right foot hooks behind the left calf (Eagle legs).

  3. Simultaneously, wrap your right arm under your left, palms touching if possible, keeping elbows at shoulder height (Eagle arms).

Execution

  1. Inhale to prepare, engaging your core.

  2. Exhale as you lift your shoulder blades and hips off the floor, bringing your elbows and knees toward each other in the center.

  3. Hold momentarily at the top, squeezing your abdominal muscles.

  4. Inhale as you return to the starting position without letting your head fully touch the floor to keep constant tension on the core.

  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps, then switch the wrap of your arms and legs to target the opposite side.
