How to do the In & Out Version II

Setup

  • Sit on a flat, non-slip surface, ideally a yoga mat.

  • Lean your torso back slightly while bracing your core, keep your chest lifted.

  • Place your hands on the floor behind or beside your hips for stability and balance.

  • Lift your feet slightly off the ground, extending your legs outward to start.

Execution

  • Inward Movement: Exhale and draw your knees in toward your chest by engaging your abdominal muscles.

  • Outward Movement: Inhale and extend your legs back out to the starting position without letting them touch the floor.

  • Control: Keep your core tight throughout the entire range of motion. Do not allow your lower back to arch.

Tips

  • To increase intensity, remove your hands from the floor and keep them held out to the sides for better balance challenge.

  • Maintain a steady rhythm and focus on feeling the contraction in your stomach muscles during the inward tuck.
