How to do the Dumbbell Lateral Shuffle Punch
Setup
Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding a light dumbbell in each hand at chest height, as if in a boxing stance.
Movement
Shuffle: Perform a quick lateral shuffle to one side by stepping your outside foot out, then bringing your inside foot to meet it.
Punch: As you finish the shuffle, plant your lead foot firmly and throw a cross punch with the opposite hand, fully extending the arm while rotating your torso.
Repeat: Immediately shuffle toward the other side and deliver a cross punch with the other hand.
Focus: Maintain a low, athletic stance with a slight bend in your knees throughout the entire movement. Keep your core engaged to stabilize your torso during the punches and transitions.
