Setup
Standing tall with feet hip-width apart, hold a resistance band with both hands using a wide grip. Your arms should be fully extended.
Movement
Begin the movement with the band in front of your hips.
Keeping your arms straight, slowly lift the band up and over your head in a wide, controlled arc.
Continue the movement until the band reaches your lower back/glutes.
Pause briefly to feel the stretch in your chest and shoulders.
Reverse the movement by bringing the band back overhead to the starting position in front of your hips.
Key Tips
Maintain a neutral spine throughout the movement.
If the band is too tight to complete the movement with straight arms, choose a lighter band or increase the grip width.
